San Jacinto Stompers

The San Jacinto Stompers play jazz in the Revival-Style, made popular via recordings made from the early 1940s onward, by such artists as Bunk Johnson, George Lewis, Kid Howard, Kid Thomas, Percy Humphrey, Wooden Joe Nicholas, and De De Pierce. These musicians were recorded in many locations around the city and sometimes in their own homes. One of the most popular venues used for recording was "San Jacinto Hall".

Trevor Whiting Tribute to Benny Goodman

Trevor is one of the finest clarinettists in the UK today. Trevor captures Benny Goodman’s style of brilliant virtuosity, mellifluous tone, rhythmic excitement and imaginative flair of the master and does all this in a way that delights his audience. With an all star rhythm section of pianist Colin Good, Anthony Kerr, the brilliant vibraphonist, the swinging bassist Jerome Davies and drummer Richard Pite, whose Gene Krupa style is familiar to many.
